Coloring Down the Lines with Stampin' Up Color Coach

YAY!  Back on track!  I am back with my peeps coloring down the lines with Stampin' Up!'s Color Coach.  If you have hopped over from Robbie's Blog, then you know the challenge...  we are supposed to use the color coach to determine what colors we are supposed to use in our card.  This week our focal color was Primrose Petals, and I chose the option that included Summer Starfruit and Basic Gray.  I used a sketch from one of my favorite challenge sites, Try Stampin on Tuesday to help me gather some inspiration...

Here is their sketch:
And here is what I did:
I really believe the picture doesn't do this card justice...  The cool thing I just couldn't capture was that I used the color spritzer (or "snot sucker" as Shelli always calls it) to add some primrose petals splatters to the white on the base...I promise to work on my photography this year!

Now please hop on down the lines to Carol's Cards to see what she did with this challenge!  Thanks for stopping by!

  2. I love your bold flower and the black trim. The piercing is a super extra "touch." I always forget about my piercer -- thanks for the reminder. Wish I could see that spritz, but it is always hard to see in a photograph, no matter how good the photographer. Very pretty card. Hugs.

  3. What a stunning card! I agree with Sandy as far as the piercing goes: I forget what a great finishing touch that creates. Well done as always!
